Strathspey (2019)

Ellen MacIsaac, my former professor at the University of Ottawa and a wonderful Gaelic singer, commissioned me to compose a tune as a Christmas present for her dad in 2019. I ended up writing two tunes that fit together naturally, “A Tune for Frances” and ‘Whiskey in the Kitchen”.
